New Matereality® Compare Module Automates Graphical Comparisons

The latest release of Matereality software introduces a new Compare module to perform comparison analytics on your test results stored in your Matereality database. Data of any type and complexity can be cross-plotted. The software module, which is accessible from your My Properties and My Workgroup Properties apps, automatically analyzes a group of selected datasets and instantly provides graphical comparisons of all related properties, saving you considerable time that might have been spent performing cross-plots in Excel. Use the statistical error banding capability to evaluate the graphical spread of your data. Using Google Chrome? Click the camera icon to save a picture of the cross-plot for your PowerPoint presentation.

Headquarters Facility Expands

DatapointLabs has recently added space at our headquarters in Ithaca. The expansion provides more offices to accommodate staff increases and common areas to facilitate collaboration. We continue to add staff to support our growth. Jeff Runyan joined the company in October 2013 as a laboratory technician. He brings more than 20 years of experience in water analysis, microbiology testing and quality assurance to his new position, where he will be focusing primarily on thermal testing of materials. When he's not at work, Jeff enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, and watching sports.

Further additions and upgrades to laboratory equipment are planned for the coming months, which will allow us to better serve the increasing demand for testing services from our global customer base.

Change in Sample Retention Time

Because of the large volume of work flowing through the laboratory, we can no longer retain samples for extended periods of time. Beginning on January 1, 2014, samples remaining after your testing is completed will be kept for a maximum of six months, after which they will be discarded.

Our policies related to our material testing services are always available on our website for reference.
